TITLE: The National University of Singapore Library
DESCRIPTION: "The NUS Library was formed by the integration of the libraries of the former University of Singapore (SU) and Nanyang University (Nantah) in August 1980 when the two universities merged. The history of the SU Library actually dates back to July 1905 when the Straits and Federated Malay States Government Medical School was established."--About. The Library has over 2.1 million volumes of books and bound periodicals as of June 1997.
