TITLE: Conservation OnLine (CoOL)
DESCRIPTION: Resources for Conservation Professionals. CoOL, a project of the Preservation Department of Stanford University Libraries, is a full text database of conservation information. The databases cover a wide spectrum of topics of interest to those involved with the conservation of library, archives and museum materials. The bulk of CoOL's material will be found in Gopher but there are also a number of "value added" document sets that are only available via WWW. The Gopher facet of CoOL includes many plain text files and the ConsDir an email directory of people involved in conservation.
